Privacy Policy

Effective September 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Women’s Health of Manhattan (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit womenshealthofmanhattan.com (the “Site”). It does not apply to protected health information created or received in the course of your care, which is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, available at our office.

Please don’t send medical information through this Site

Our contact form is intended for general inquiries and scheduling requests only. Please do not submit medical history, symptoms, or other confidential health information through the Site. Web forms and analytics tools are not secure, HIPAA-compliant channels for protected health information.

Information you provide to us

When you submit our inquiry form, we collect the information you enter — your name, email address, phone number, and message — so that our office can respond to your request. This information is sent to our practice and is not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Analytics and cookies

We use two analytics services to understand how visitors use the Site and to keep it running well:

  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. Our hosting provider, Vercel, collects aggregated, privacy-friendly metrics such as page views, referring pages, general geographic region, device and browser type, and page load performance (Core Web Vitals). This data is collected without cookies and is not used to build an individual profile of you. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy for details.
  • PostHog. We use PostHog, a product analytics platform, to understand how visitors navigate the Site and to run occasional A/B tests of page content (for example, testing which photo or layout performs better). PostHog may set cookies or use similar browser storage, and collects information such as pages viewed, general location inferred from IP address, device and browser information, and on-page interactions. Because our PostHog configuration keeps visitor profiles persistent, repeat visits from the same browser may be recognized as the same visitor over time, even though we do not ask you to identify yourself to use the Site. We do not use PostHog to collect the content of our inquiry form or any health information. See PostHog’s Privacy Policy for details.

You can limit this data collection using your browser’s cookie controls, tracking protection, or ad-blocking extensions. Blocking these tools will not affect your ability to browse the Site or submit an inquiry.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to inquiries and scheduling requests;
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content and performance; and
  • Test and compare different versions of page content to improve the Site over time.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers described in this policy (Vercel and PostHog) so that they can provide hosting and analytics services on our behalf, or as required by law.

Children’s privacy

This Site is intended for adults seeking information about our practice and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
